K8S 95.4 FM covers areas of Kigezi, Ankole, Toro, Kasese and parts of Democratic Republic of Congo (DRG) and Rwanda. The radio covers an area where majority of the population do not regularly read news papers and besides, the Television is watched by an even lesser population. KBS 95.4 FM is therefore the main channel of communication to an estimated audience of over 12 million people The radio has a modern state of art digitalized equipment and studios with well qualified staff both on air and in the field. The radio broadcasts 24 hours a day with a variety of programs and presenters who inspire the listeners to phone in and participate in the debates and discussions taking place.
